Was mentioned on here a few weeks ago and is now resident on my Google Reader along with teh 20 or so other blogs I keep up to date on.

Very impressed with the insight and standard of journalism and have revised my opinion of JA accordingly. The guy clearly does know F1 and is hugely passionate - just a shame he was so damn annoying during race commentary!

He's also writing (I believe) for the FT, and doing some work for Italian TV. I believe he said his accreditation for the GP is via the FT, however.

Surely he's mistaken about just how quick Brawn are? He seems to think they won't show their full speed this weekend, and will just do enough to get a one two, so as not to heighten the diffuser row.

i.e - settle for top 4 spots in the practice sessions and then headline for qualifying and the race.

He says 'They can win on Sunday with something to spare' and that they shouldn't show their full pace this 'weekend'. Sounds to me as though he thinks Brawn are fast enough to blow everybody into the weeds..

It may very well be that he knows what their fuel loads have been, for instance...

Fantastic Blog, I never really warmed to him as a commentator but as a writer he is very very good.

Perhaps writing suits him better as it gives him a chance to think about what he is saying, edit it a bit and take a bit more time to reflect his message, and basically get his point across in a more intelligent way.

He is really bigging up Brawn, and I cant help but get drawn in to it as he surely knows what he is talking about?

Really really hope that Brawn dont prove to be the anticlimax of the year
