Focus Tdci 115 cold starting problems

Im have cold starting problems with my 54 plate tdci had the dmf changed the middle of last year as that went after having the tensioner pulley and belts changed first now I have cold starting issue after reading several threads on forums Ive been and bought a CPS sensor the one fitted to the car was black and the one Ive got now is grey.I fitted it and made no difference this morning starting took 4 attempts do I need to replace the connector with wiring aswell or is that just on early tdcis or have they given me the wrong colour sensor at the dealers? Any suggestions to help would be appreciated.

had this problem with my 02 115 tdci focus, mine was battery related, not turning the engine over quite quick enough, new battery fitted starts on second revolution, say that properly just jinxed myself and be late for work tomorrow haha

Aye, we had trouble with ours until we gave the battery a full overnight charge.

Doesn't get run enough.
