Just having seen this clock on another thread reminded me that I want/need a wall clock...however that one is SLIGHTLY! out of budget, dont want to spend more than say £75 for a normal clock....although I am open to a bit of indungence here and particularly If I find something I really like and is more than just a throwaway item.

However I love the idea of a LARGE oversized clock in order to fill some space on the blank wall (Off white in colour), something like an industrial clock

but on a bigger scale (anything up to 3ft diamater would work). Nice design aswell.

This one is even better

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SIEMENS-Industrial-Clock-Mod...

Dont really know what differences there are between any of these things, so long as it tells time well enough and looks nice I dont mind what features it has/doesnt have (date, second hand .etc)

But most importantly it must be absolutely or as close to silent as possible, I struggle to sleep with a ticking clock you see.

So......Inspire me

I quite liked this one when I saw it the other day. Good for an office or big garage smile

Can't help but thought I'd go for a quick hijack because I am *desperate* for this wall clock (though I have no idea how much it costs...)

If anyone has even the slightest idea where I might be able to get hold of one I'd be forever grateful!

It would have to be a Swiss railway clock for me, though it would probably have to be on a dark/black background to really work well

This one would blow your budget a bit! But it is stunningly big, 80cm and is back-lit by 300 LED's.

2nd this.

Habitat sell the flip over railway style clocks too.

I wouldn't bother with a "big name branded" one. Doubt the movement will be anything other than a std wall clock movement, and would personally want something more understated (in fact I have - from JL).

Would I be correct in assuming that a quartz movement without a second hand will not tick?

Thanks For the suggestions guys
