Lots of guards there.

What about a Numpty-Driver Anti-lamping Guard.

They seem to have missed the guard for the rear bumper guard!
Is it still a bumper if it's covered by a guard?

Front nudge bars....

Hmm - X5 imitation bumpers more like - you can "nudge" all sorts of things (grannies, Nova's, John Prescot Jags) off the road in an X5 without any "add on adornments".

Streetwise - the Nova of the SUV.

What sort of fitting kit do you need for alloy wheels?

Just means they can charge £150 for a set of bolts and some instructions.

Sorry, I seem to be in a minority here.. I actually like the Streetwise ... with the full range of parking protectors, it would looke really cool.

Shame its not 4x4 though.

Incidently, the new Softroad Golf looks fun.

Saw one in York the other day and it just made me crack up - reminded me of a home-counties public schoolboy trying to look hard - a sort of wheeled Sacha Baron Cohen, if you will.
Wonder how long it'll take before the Laxxers get their hands on it

Its no less cool that the volvo or renault or indeed anyone elses idea of a 'soft-roader'. Infact given the interior changes over the standard R25 it actually is quite different. At least it IS offering a difference inside and out.

I'm not excusing anyone for buying one, but i think its a fair crack at the market given the oppurtunity. And given the choice of this over the renault i'd probably go for it. I'm not sure the "it isnt even 4WD" arguement cuts it either - why should it be..? its not going to go any further than the verge anyway. 2wd is cheaper for servicing etc etc.....

Maybe this is the way to go - if we can get 4x4 mums into something like this, which "feels" like a 4x4 but isnt, then maybe the next step is to feed them out of these and into proper cars again and therefore potentially decreasin gthe number of larger vehicles on road...?

Who knows..?
