Standard on the American cars. Different size to the UK ones. Hyundai I seem to remember?

Correct. Not without a fair bit of chopping and making good.

I don't mind the Mondeo ones – they look better than the Hyundai ones to me. Still like these the best though:

Still think the nicest I've seen are Art411ys darkened original units.

You can take the clam off in 2 minutes if there's 2 of you to hold it.

looks like the US lights have a sharper and higher point on the outsides

IIRC the bit in the middle is totally different too. Search this forum we all debated this back in the day.

Agree, the whole rear of the clam has different dimensions. If you look at the area below the lights before the clam bulges out, its only 2 inches in height all the way across the car, where the UK one is big enough to fit a trimmed reg plate

yes, the clam has to come off but as mentioned is very easy to remove.the us lights will fit with a bit of cutting to the numberplate plinth and the area for securing the lights back.a friend of mine at g and g msport has a broken rear clam that i can practice on before it goes to the fibreglass man.still a bit unsure if it will look as good as what they do on the us clam
