Oopnurthring meet Sunday 26th April

I'm sorting out a meet to drive said route and perhaps stop for a coke along the way. Meet will be on Sunday 26th April, but I've not decided yet on AM or PM.

AM = Quieter roads Nowhere to stop for coke
PM = Quieter roads Somewhere open to stop for coke (I was thinking of taking a detour and stopping at the Ford Inn just outside of Holmfirth.

Anyone want to join me? Note your preference and we'll see who likes to get up early!

I would like to put my name down for this drive out - assuming that newbies are welcome? Have organised similar drive outs in the Dales (Buttertubs mainly) with an MG ZR forum I used to be a member on - but would love to find out more about the roads in the Peak District

Hope to meet some of you on this drive! Not too fussed for AM or PM, either would be good, prob have a slight preference for AM if I'm honest but can do either!

Hi all, could I put my name down as well. Watched the videos and had a run up there last weekend, did a short run along the A5004. Thats a nice stretch too.
Is anyone going to have a look at the TVRCC as well then?

only a week till this meet is scheduled - whats the plan - it all seems to have going queit? Are we doing AM or PM and where we meeting? Snake Pass as mentioned previously?

Looking at the majority, I'd say a 7pm meet at the base of the snake as previously mentioned. Over the snake, strines and then into holmfirth. From there, probably up to the ford inn for a coke before tackling holme moss and the devils elbow into glossop

Thanks for the update - given that you are doing the PM option I'll have to bow out now - been roped in to playing football on Sunday afternoon and will never have finished the match and got over to the meetingpoint in sensible timescales

Gutted to be honest - but hopefully there might be another meet in the future??
