Well, we've gave them all our money in exchange for cheap tat, might as well give them all our secrets too.

But yes, on a serious note, VERY worrying indeed.

They have been doing this for years, PLA have a hacking division full of "army" computer experts. Media just never decided to report it, guess the human rights stuff was more interesting to them until now.

If you are interested, have a look into the stories about the subcontracted Chinese "private" company helping out Australia with it's new internet backbone.....

Interesting lead into the G20 meetings. Of course, everyone spies on everyone else, but this is one of the biggest I have seen confirmed.

And do we honestly think that the USA and UK are not trying (if not succeeding) in doing the same things to the Chinese, Iranian etc Govts?

I'm more worried that our Govt wants to spy on Twitter and Facebook etc. to control us...

And the USA doesn't have a system that does all this, and more?? rolleyes

Tell me, the US government would never invent a scandal like this to deflect attention away from something closer to home, would they, nor the UK government?

The US does seem to be trying to turn China into the new bogey man of late.
