Advice please Head Gasket Failure on S6
Discussion
Some advice needed please!
I currently considering buying a very nice Tuscan 1, that had the engine replaced with one from a 2006 Tuscan 2. It seems great in every respect, but there is a niggling doubt that i need to put to bed!
The head gasket went at about 3000 miles, been replaced and has done around 1000 miles since without problem, but...what is the likelihood of a head gasket failure recurring? There werent any indications it was going to go first time, eveything seems as it should be with the rest of the car. Apparently its very rare, talking to one specialist there isnt any likelihood of it recurring more than in any other engine.
Anyone had a gasket replaced and it fail again?
What questions should i be asking?
