Not bad but it won't please everyone.
No "big" front man but why would one expect there to be. Why do we need one - we just want to see the cars and get specific sport educated journalists into the garages and pits to ask team members, organisers and former drivers their views.
Going the "Blue Peter" route with Jake (who?) Humphrey is the best decision the BBC have made in a long time. We don't need Steve Rider sitting there eyeing up your missus everytime he looks into the camera on 2.0 million quids worth of taxpayers cash anyway. We'd have had John Inverdale or Ben Fogle next and then we'd be in real trouble.
Not sure about that woman though - I think she gives the impression she's looking for a husband a little too much.
Anyway, we shall see after tomorrow's race. 'Better set that alarm before I forget.
