Long trip in Disco 2 TD5 - Results

Got back last night from my skiing trip to the the Northern French Alps.
I did a total of 1501 miles and averaged 22.58 mpg (worked out on actual litres put in tank against actual mileage, as apposed to trip comp which the Disco doesn't have ). 95% of the trip was at 75mph on the beautiful french motorways, no congestion (apart from when we got back to blighty of course) Not as good as I hoped.
However we were laden with 3 blokes weighing total of 42 stone, 5 pairs of skis 5 pairs of skis boots and 5 sets of luggage. Nothing external, although I am sure that my snorkel would play a part in diminishing returns.
Car didnt skip a beat and I couldnt resist trying to reverse it up a disused road full of snow. Picture to follow.
