We all know that someone will be canned at some stage during the season (and probably be replaced by Bruno Senna). So, after todays result, who will be the first weakest link? Who will be leaving Sir Alan's boardroom with their suitcase?

I'm going with Piquet Jnr.

As ever, under the pace car when the commentators were talking about very low tyre pressures and a tricky restart, you just knew who was going to throw it at the scenery.

Time to shave F1 of the little Brazilian and grow back another one.

Piquet will probably be the first to go, but more interesting will be which of the big names will go at the end of the season - I suspect far more than last year. For example a couple of Fins currently driving with top teams seem to have started the season with the same disappointing performance they showed in 2008. Webber will also have to pick up the pace given Vettel's strong performance in pre-season testing and throughout this weekend.

I'd say Piquet but Bourdais is a very close 2nd. Piquet always seems to lose concentration and just doesn't always have the pace. He was very competitive in GP2 but perhaps he isn't ready for F1. Bourdais getting beaten by a novice on his debut in the same car has got to be embarrassing.

God knows though, neither Nakajima nor Bourdais deserve to be anywhere near their seats.

For some strange reason i'd be sad to see Piquet go. (if he does of course) Don't ask me why..

However if he were to get the bullet i think filling it with Bruno Senna would please all camps. A hungry new driver at Renault.

I certainly wouldn't want to change the line-up at Brawn. Where they are right now i think Button and Barachello are the right fit.

I think Raikkonen. If he doesn't sort his act and soon, he's gonna be gone by mid-season. Ferrari are in it to win it, and i don't consider that either of their drivers are of the very top drawer, but Massa has done a fantastic job in improving himself. There are just too many good drivers out there now who won't want 25 mill a year, it'll just be a matter of dealing with their contracts.

Tend to agree with that. JV proved that a team can tire of a driver mid season.

Maybe it's just me, but Raikkonen seems to be easily bored; if he's not winning, he loses interest very quickly. When he's on it, he's as fast or faster than anyone else. But there seems to be a substantial amount of time where he drives like he can't really be arsed.

Bourdais or Piquet for sure. Really thought Buemi was going to be rubbish, judging him on his GP2 performances last year but he did well today

Piquet isn't looking good to stay, Bourdais won't be far behind. Brundle said something about Bourdais driving in a Sportscar 24 hour race in the last few weeks so he was used to cruising a (comparatively) big car round at 200mph, and not adjusting back to the new F1 car. All I heard of Bourdais was him moaning about the car, well it can't be that bad if Newbie Buemi can score points in his first race with the same car.

The others will probably stay the season, but I think a lot of drivers are going to come and go for 2010.

Can't believe he said in his interview that he had a brake problem on the safety car laps. Yet if he did he didn't think much about it when he stood on the brakes at the normal braking point at T1 on the restart. To me he clearly locked the rears whilst down shifting/braking whilst trying the slow down on cold tyres.

Everyone else in that list - in fact, the whole grid - has some legit excuses about why they haven't sometimes been able to perform to expectations. Piquet consistently falls short.

Just have richest driver, rather than the best.
