Northern / Mid France - 5 days

Have a ferry booked for the end of May. Thursday morning crossing coming back mid afternoon on Monday.

I need some suggestions of where to go, stay and see in northern / mid France.

Its a cheapie trip so will be looking at camping apart from the last night where I am thinking of getting a hotel somewhere like Honfleur.

Any ideas?

Only place to go is over at the vosges mountains in the loraine/alsace region,fantastic driving roads and scenery.Its about 360 miles from calais.HTH

Davey, you can get from Le Harve to Perpignan - which is the border with Spain on the east side, in 11 or so hours/700 miles.

If your schedule can allow it, it's a great area and the beaches are great - it's one of the Costa del's and the roads are great too. Can also take in Millau viaduct.

Not used them myself, but they have had some very good write ups including a recent one in the Times supplement.
