1000 miles and nothing went wrong!!

Just got back from my birthday surpise from my mrs
1000 miles over 4 days touring the welsh countryside
This is the first long trip the car has done since i got it and not a thing went wrong

The car is 15 years old and still gathers praise and great comments from everyone

Great car plus Great Roads = Excellent Fun

Who says that TVR's are not reliable

Great!!! I've been itching to do something similar since I got my S. Problem is, the wife doesn't like to leave our daugher with anyone for any longer than an overnight stay. Oh, well. How old is it before your kids can stop at home on their own???

I done that exact same thing about 3 weeks ago, covered 1300 miles in the week. Where abouts did you go?

We covered Brecon, Snowdon, Elan valley bloooody fantastic..

Oh yes the 'S' performed brilliantly as yours...

We went to Snowdon, Brecon, Cardif everywhere really

The thing that was best was the reaction from the people there....all waving and smiling

I bet there are not many other 15 year old cars that provoke so much positive feedback

I had to tighten most of the trim back down after...

We stayed at Pale Hall in Bala, nice hotel and easy access to the rest of the country

I drove the S to the office this morning, left the other car at home

No other rattles and all the trim even seems to be still in place

I have been surprised also how reliable the S has been, drove it every day for the whole summer and never missed a beat.......! I am going to miss it when its gone, someone is coming to look on Saturday with a view to buying it!! But then I am getting myself a V8S to play with, so the fun will not stop.... just hope the next car is as reliable as mine has been!

I've done 70,000 miles in mine (now on 104,000), plenty of that on track and I've only had one incident which has left me stranded. That was a dodgy earth which the AA bloke couldn't find but the dealer fixed in five mins.
