tuscan steering rack tie bar and track rod end
Discussion
I have just found out that the track rod ends for the tuscan are from a rover SD1 1976 onwards and cost around £6.00 compared to £19 from a TVR dealer but does any one know what the tie bars are off as when i tried the motor factors they didn't list a rover steering rack or tie bars

Richard, Mine needed replacing last year around Nov when it was discovered at MOT time that the rubbers had split. I searched high and low looking for the right part number but couldn't find what I was looking for so bit the bullet and ordered them from TVR Power in the end, £15 each plus VAT and delivery I seem to recollect. When they arrived I was sure I'd made a note of what they were off, or any part numbers, but I can't find anything at the moment. There were a lot of similar part numbers I found I seem to recollect, but unless you know for sure, it's not worth a gamble. I'll keep searching in case I can find my scrap of paper that I probably wrote it down on! I ended up buying a ball joint splitter (Halfrauds) and changed them myself prior to letting Andy at APM set up my suspension (had Gaz Gold Pro fitted at the same time).
There Should Be...... I just spent alot more than I should have done.
Tuscan/Tamora/Sagaris/T350 : Wheel Bearing Assemblies from a TVR specialist are over £130 each (Front & Rear both the same part).
However, the part is actually from a Chrysler Jeep Cherokee (1999 - 2004) and can be purchased off E-Bay for under £60 ! ! ! !

The earlier 336mm long ones are allegedly Ford part number 6180350.
