Kid has managed to collect a large crack (30cm long and will fail MOT) in his 3 ser coupe. Insurance will sort it out - but he's got some rust around the windscreen aperture.

While he's happy to live with the crack for a few days, he has decided to "slice" the top off the rubber windscreen trim to get amongst the corrosion before the windscreen fitters do their work. I'm not sure if the rubber trim is disposable or will be re-used when the new bonded in screen is fitted.

Looks to be quite a complex piece and no doubt costly - anyone know if it's re-usable or will a new seal assembly be provided with screen?

Thanks

You'll get a new seal with the screen.
Remember to tell them you have a top tint wink
