I'm not usually a watch wearer but I found this watch about 4 years ago in a field near to my house in the middle of nowhere. The strap had broken where it meets the body and it had obviously dropped off someone's wrist. Since then it had been sat in a drawer with a dead battery. It now has a new bracelet strap and battery, the original straps were not available from Accurist anymore so it just has a generic one fitted.

Anyone know how old it might be approximately?

What are Accurist like as a manufacturer, good quality? (A car analogy could be useful! laugh)
Model number is MB151N but google tells me nothing.

Haha, cheers fair enough, can't really complain. The reason I never used to wear a watch was that they always used to get battered and scratched whilst working so it wasn't worth having one. Doesn't really matter with this one too much if its nothing special, its already a bit rough around the edges.

frown Not tempted to hand it in to the police when you found it?
Could have been a much loved gift that somebody was gutted to lose.

Just cos it doesn't have a high monetary value doesn't mean it isn't priceless to someone.

I've got an old accurist lying about somewhere.

The most accurate watch I've ever had. I remember setting it against the speaking clock (sponsored by Accurist biggrinbiggrin) and a few years later checked it again (having never adjusted it) and it was barely seconds out. Most watches would be minutes out at least.

Don't try and make me feel guilty, its a bit late now 4 years down the line. Really, it is the middle of no where. I mentioned it to the farmer who land it was on in case it was his.

The numbers and hands glow in the dark, which I think is pretty cool!
