I have organised a trip to meguiars uk distrubutor in daventry , The day will start with coffee and biscuits, Then a 1 hour talk about the history and products of the company then they will take us into the detailing room and give us a demo of products using a volenters car, There will be a chance to buy products direct from them, There is room for as many cars as we like but there is only room for 25 people in the demo areas, (no children under 16) You will get a free goody bag at the end of the day, The date is 9th may (sat morning) meeting at 9.30 for a 10 start will end around 12,30ish, Would be good to get some nice motors there for a meeting with a differance , Could sort a nice route for a drive after for a hour or so and maybe finish with a sandy in a nice large pub carpark to end the day ,if your interested put your names down, Cheers Tim

Me Me! Would love to attend this please. Just getting in to detailing this year while off work and have had some success.

I've a couple of old Mercs I can volunteer - one a very very original metallic blueblack 1986 with cream interior and really stunning paintwork but has never been detailed. Minor scratches and dings as per its 120k miles. The other Merc a silver wreck with overspray here and there, bits of dodgy respray and clear coat peel on things like the spoiler.. possibly a bit risky for a demo that one !!

I've been to one of these days, and they are very good.

Before I went, I always used Autoglym, after using some of the products myself on the demo car, I will never go back. They are so much easier to work and, weirdly, the smell really nice as well...
