M4 was shut between J6 & J5 eastbound for about an hour tonight - possible fatalities.

Some gutless chav scum were on the bridge over the carriageway taking photo's. Even after the coppers told them to do one, they carried on. Completely dickless.

Oh, & Dizee, what is it with coppers & blue Astra VXR's?

Wondered what the queues where about. If it was only closed for an hour, its a good sign no one was seriously injured or killed as it normally closed for longer to do investigation work etc.

The photographing scum are often press, they go mad getting to the nearest bridge to an accident to get the 'money shot'

I was sent to close the c/way to for the police so that the collision investigator could carry out their work.
I'm glad to say it was not a serious injury, and the police and HATOs' take the decision to close a motorway very seriously, considering all options before doing so, as I'm sure you're aware.
In the words of many road signs...Sorry for any delay.

Well that's good then.

I'm guessing the rather wide 100 foot + long tyre marks from the middle lane to the hard shoulder were the result of dragging a vehicle & not skid marks?

Stopping distance from 70mph? not bad if done in 100ft! Skid marks may have even been from someone who got tyre damage from accident or a lorry with a locked brake...I haven't a clue really hehe

You're right there, my colleagues used one of the HATO vehicles to clear the damaged vehicles from the c/way to the hard shoulder, then informed us and we re-opened the c/way.
Took a while though as the police needed to carry out initial investigations.
