Strange colour / paint jobs

Is there any rules, on the finish or pattern of the paint job of a race car.

I don't want to give too much away just yet. it will be a pattern just wondered if there was any rules.

Royal Navy Mozaic camoflage and Lozenge 1910 world war 1 paintwork is prohibited, other than that colour schemes are free!

Well, thats not strictly true, only Graham is allowed pink on the car and faux Gulf colours look really cheesy unless you are actualy sponsored by Gulf.
