About blummin' time we had a campaign to try and control the money-making juggernaut that is the government's "safety" camera policy.

Personally I think speed doesn't kill, it's inappropriate speed that does. And we've all experienced slow drivers that are actually considerably more dangerous than faster ones - lack of attention to the outside world, inconsiderate driving, non-indication, middle/fast lane hogging, and bad road-craft are all far more dangerous, in my opinion, than occasionally going faster than posted speed limits where conditions allow.

Anyway, that's my rant over with - I've a feeling I'm preaching to the converted here!

Hey - we are all converts...

I've just spent an hour reading the 'police' letter
and I'm happy to learn that they all know what we do.

It's just revenue .. and they also know how to really prevent accidents .. if only the powers that be will listen.

Perhaps they do know who their fathers were after all !
