Idle trawl through the cerb forum and someone asking about a light in his boot. Got me thinking, I don't recal there being a boot light in the Chim........is there one?

No, there's no standard fitting of a boot light in a Chim, but the previous owner on mine had one put in and it is quite useful.

Mine 97/P is pre-bum lift, i.e. it still has the back-lit license plate (more honestly described as unlit license plate). The backlighting bulbs throw a fair bit of light back into the boot which can be handy.

Thinking about it, mine is a 98/R using the number plate lights to light the boot. I think I'll rig up a boot light from them - could do with more light in the winter months!
