Sat nav plus - trouble with the phone directory

Hi guys

Newbie here, so please be gentle...

I have a 55 plate A4 with sat nav plus (DVD based) including blue tooth. I can synch my phone (and my wife's) via blue tooth, and can make and recieve calls hands free with the blue tooth no problem. I don't have the steering wheel controls.

However, I can not access my phone directory using the MMI despite following the instructions in the hand book. I have to use the phone to find the number I want. Equally, when I recieve a call from a known number, the callers name doesn't show on the screen (just the number) even though it does on the phone....

I'm baffled. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Check with a dealer, there may be a software upgrade needed, my 2007 A6 had to have phone software upgraded. Also, not all phone work with the full address book, or caller name etc
