Does anyone know if removing the front driver’s side interior door panel on a 54reg 3 Series is an easy job?

I only ask as my drivers door has developed an annoying rattle that I would normally fix without hesitation but given the panel has an airbag in it, I am somewhat reluctant until I know what I am letting myself in for.

So I suppose what I am really asking is does the presence of the airbag mean that removing the door panel is an expert job?

Cheers

2 minute job, there's 3 screws in the handle, 1 under a cover in the recess for the door realise lever and one under the little cover that says 'airbag' on it. Then it's just some pop clips along the bottom and side. Don't worry about the airbag, it is attached to the door, not the card. Once you've unclipped it, you will just need to remove the cable to the door release and unplug the mirror switch and the speakers.

Don't forget to order a bag of the clips before you embark, as you will probably break a few in the process of removing the door card and you might as well put it back on properly.
Part number ends 500 if that helps.
