Door adjustment and mirrors

My S went off for respray today and I noticed the drivers door had dropped, after removing the speaker and having a good grope, i was expecting to find the top nut loose? It wasn't and as i didn't have time to put a spanner on to tighten it i just wondered if that is how it's adjusted?

Also i have the ribbed (ooer missus) door mirrors that look as if they can have rubber strips around them, if so does anyone know where to get these? I'm sure i was told they are O ring rubber- if anyone knows the size could they let me know because i'd much rather get some off Fleabay and have it posted to me.

I'll get around to going for a long drive in this car one day! I think i've finally sorted the grounding issues as well- the downpipe being 3/4 inch lower than the silencer box obviously contributed!
