lambo specialist servicing
Discussion
Can any one tell me if they have used any Lambo specialist to service their car the only ones i have found are BHP in Aylesbury, Verdi, Millbrook cars in Sheffield, Super car clinc in Manchester, i have a Gallardo which needs a major at the end of this month any feed back would be good Thanks Craig
I have used them for the 360 i had they are bob houghton and they were very good been to high wycombe already for a few minor jobs to be done they were ok i have had prices from £1700 to £2900 for a major service which is what is due i used some of the independent ferrai boys for the servicing of it and found them better than the offical dealers just thinking about doing the same with the lambo if i can find a good one
I have had 3 jobs done there the first was to repair the rear spoiler sticking up fixed ok and was very cheap also compaired to what birmingham wanted, the second was an air bag light on, traced fault to passenger seat fixed but panel on seat base was not fitted correct (clips broke) also went in for paint on bottom sill behind the door, bubbles coming through paint they did it under warranty about 3 months ago bubbles have come back never owned a lambo before this is my first one so just tryng to find out who is good and not so good

semi-official Lamborghini Wycombe Service...
can i ask what you mean by "semi-official" ?Lamborghini Wycombe Services aren't a fully franchised Lamborghini dealership as it stands. They obviously have a franchise to service Lamborghinis because they qualify (as far as I'm aware and according to EU legislation) due to having enough of the type of facilities they need to ensure that any car manufacturer in the EU would have to offer them a franchise if they were asked. I think they now have a Maserati 'deal' in much the same way, though again, I may be wrong.
Obviously, this is not the same as an actual full dealership taken in direct agreement with a manufacturer and in the case of LWS, you'll note they don't actually sell new Lamborghinis and indeed (as far I can see) they don't trade in very recent models much (post '05, say) at all...
Perhaps my phrasing is wrong? Perhaps that situation has another explanation that fits in just a couple of words like 'main dealer' does for erm, main dealers?
and unless the EDF has a particular enjoyment of grubbing around in dirty old car parks or other grimelands in the exact way that I certainly don't, we ain't doggin' along at least not together like that... as for anyone else's opinion of that sort of thing, I couldn't possibly comment...

So, DP3 (every other DP must be a later number than mine, those are my initials and have been since 1962!...) can play catch up with Robin if he wants... ooo errr miss-us... go guys, knock yourselves out, a bit...

but I might ...just... get to 2000 first... I might start posting all over the place tomorrow, even if it's just a cheery 'hello' on forums where I never usually visit... for example those Gilbern guys could use a cheer-up I reckon...
