EXCELLENT thank you smile.... i was contemplaiting a t350 but the other half was'nt too sure (under the thumb, oh the shame) but to my joy walking down from the cathedral in Durham city a red griffith came our way, sun beaming down like a sign from God, top down (the car that is) it caught her eye 'ooow i like that'....... she says, i was shocked to say the least....once i explained why it sounded so, she gave the nod of approval and graced my ears with what only a few have ever heard 'you can have one of them' *purse strings are in the relaxed position* ....biggrin

my nearest dealer is Hexham horsless carriages, but have seen an advert in the classified for any independant inspection guy

http://pistonheads.com/sales/809906.htm (hope links to classi's are allowed)

is this worth doing or can i trust HHC ?

no worries if my Q's cant be answered

I'd suggest you trust HHC rather than use someone who posts generic ads...

That could well have been me i was down that way on sunday morning .

I like the look of this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/971902.htm
HHC have a nice blue Griff in the showroom a bit over your budget but i have always found them very helpful . Mines a very early pre- serp 500 but your budget should get a nice sorted 500 from around 98 onwards good hunting please feel free to E mail me through my profile if you have any questions. Good hunting tom.

Another vote for pre-cat (4.3)..... might be down on engine size... but the noise is SO much better.....

get yourself a good one and it's as powerfull as most standard 500.

Just look at good ones of both, and decide..

I had new 4.3 for 6 years, swapped it for a new 500. now had that 10 years

500, is better (marginally), all round and I don't need to wear earplugs wink
