I would vote McQueen too but for the simple reason that the 917 would piss all over the MP4/24 on the Mulsanne, and the rear downforce, or rather lack of it, in the McLaren would give Steve the upper hand. Even if McLaren had got a good car, it still wouldn't be a match for a 917 down the Mulsanne.

Hmmm...Yes and no. The 917 would undoubtedly have a higher top speed but factor in exit speed onto the straight and sheer acceleration and the McLaren would have a big, big lead. The 917 may still catch and pass down the straight but would then have to start braking an age before the McLaren.

Consider the rest of the lap and I'd say LH would walk it.

I think the calibre 36 version in that video is a lot more than 2k so that would be a bit of a bargain... plus I don't think they've been released yet?

If you have the regular Monaco then I think 2k is a little overpriced

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but I never saw the movie Le Mans, but I redeem myself as I've just ordered it from play.com along with Bullitt, which I have seen but wanted it on DVD if only for that car chase. Got them for a fiver each, and they're both the 2 disc versions; not that I ever bother with the 2nd disc, but it was the same price for the 2 disc version as the single one.
