After an evening of fun I've got the O/S hub off, while I'm in the area the Fuel Filter looks like its been there a while so I thought I'd change it while the cars on axle stands - is the 400 filter the same as the 350i (Fram G3744) ?

Local motorfactors couldn't find TVR400SE or Rover SD1 V8 rolleyes

Make sure you put another filter on BEFORE the fuel pump...

They dont have one standard and thats why so many pumps go wrong on wedges!!!

Hi Matt,

I assume thats just a gauze strainer type thing to prevent the pump getting st in it ?

Motor factors have got me a filter much easier with the part number - what would we do without the wedgepages biggrin

Edit :

Prefilter something like link
