Like many who give up smoking I find that when those urges are at their strongest nibbling on a biscuit or 5 helps distract me long enough to forget the cigs for another few hours.

Only problem is I used to smoke a LOT, so I'm eating a st load and due to my normally stick like nature I'm beginning to look like a football impaled on a spear. Not a good look.

So what else do you eat / drink / do? Tried carrot sticks, no good without a massive dollop of mayo which makes it awkward and as futile as the biscuits.

Fruit is always a good one, a nice bunch of grapes to pick on during the day.

Bombay mix can be good in the evenings if drinking too. smile

got an e-cig which I used for 3 months to get down to low-nicotine, trying to come to a full-stop now.

Can't stand chewing gum, either the taste or the image of people smacking it around their gobs.

Good call on the bombay mix though!

High fat content in nuts. Go for the sugar free gum option.
