We really should have a facility on PH forums, similar to those on Yank and Ozzie forums where all this and technical information is stored. The number of times the same old chesnuts keep re-appearing is not funny.

BTW got mine from Stainless systems. (google wehb etc)

Got mine from this place www.specialisedcarcovers.com/ had to call them to order though but they had the measurements on their system, cost £200 and fits like a glove right down to the wheels aswell hugs the car too so you can still see the outline of the car, best £200 ive spent by far.

Plan to be getting a few miles under my belt unfortunatley my garage ain't that dry when it chucks it down so would rather be prepared for the odd stain on the roof !!

go directly to specialised. do not pass go. do not collect £200. do not consider anything else.

ive been advised to stay away from car covers, they make your car 'sweat'. condensation forms under the cover and can cause problems with your paint work etc. not sure about the new ones though they may be breathable.

I bought one (outdoor) from Classic Additions. It wasn't cheap, but it's lasted over three years, and kept the car like new... now she's garaged I don't tend to use it much, but it's still there!

I could do with a car cover for the Ro. I only need it to last for about 12 months when my new garage should be built. Looking to sell??

Breathable is the key. In a massive rainshower the car *should* get wet. If not the cover isn't breathable and it'll condensate. A proper cover will let the car dry out.

The only time a cover is a definate no-no is in icy conditions as moisture on the cover will freeze and it'll scratch the paintwork.
