What number do have on your car for Le Mans and why?
Discussion
After a dozen 'naked' trips to LM I've finally decided it's time for some livery and am working on the details but am struggling with what number to have on the side. The obvious would be 09 or 24 but I think I'd rather do something different.
So it got me wondering why do other people choose the numbers they do?
Oh and anyone got any recommendations of graphics companies other than Hollographics? I have no experience of them good or bad and have my eye on a few of their standard offerings but would just like to consider any other options

i have nomber 4, or 04 on mine always. from when i was really young and i got my first football kit with the number 4 (for mu fourth birthday) i have always kept it. it is on all my shirts too.
also would like some decent sticker companies other then hollographics if anyone knows any decent ones, i am as usual getting most of my stickers (including the personalised team ones) from there, but wouldn't mind a few from other places.

In the Le Mans series there were 2 Oreca team cars nos 91 and 92. For the actual 24hrs Le mans they changed the numbers to 51 and 52. Im going for the American le mans series look
As for graphics, you can PM 'viper' through Piston Heads or look up his profile where there is a link to his company. Racegraphics.
Man in Black,
Interesting your comment! The first year my son and I went was 1996 and we really can recall a NSX in GT2 that finished (along with a number of F40s too). I have always been a NSX fan so it was great to see their result. Do you know if this was the same NSX as the one that raced in 1995?

Yep that was the same car that won GT2 in 1995. I actually got the result wrong it finished 8th overall in 95 not 5th but still won GT2.Interesting your comment! It finished 16th overall in 1996 and 3rd in GT2
Honda also ran 3 NSX in GT1 in 1995 with turbocharged 650 hp engines but all had clutch problems and either didnt finish or were not classified.
The GT2 cars were NA and ran about 320 hp

Both Hollographics and Race Graphics are highly thought of and do good stuff.
I could do with a northern based company that does more technical stuff like wraps if anyone knows any.
I need the front bumper doing completely and obviously, it has curves all over!
Any suggestions gratefully received
