Marcos LM600 road car almost finished

Well, its been 6 months since i aquired the LM600 and the car is about 3 weeks away from completion, i will upload some pics of her and i am very confident that you will agree the car looks stunning, its cost well over £20k to restore and the lambo paint job is brilliant!, you can all see the progress of this car on the Marcos owners club web site, type in Marcos owners club, then scroll down to links, then click on marcos forumn, then select LM,s all models, then click on LM600 while boycey gets his pics together, let me know what you think!! finally this one off important homolagation special will be fully restored and look a million dollers!!!. Currently the new kevlar interior is getting fitted, the horrible walnut dash board has gone and has been replaced with a carbon fibre laquered dash board, the wiring has been replaced, the carbon fibre seats are now fitted and the orange willans 3 point race harness looks mega against the seats.

Well done Vx let me know what you all think and any suggestions to the finished look!! i was thinking for graphics as the carbon fibre and orange is quite a striking contrast it will not need over the top graphics, i was thinking something similer to the carrera style lower door graphics in black to match the colour scheme of the car? any suggestions? i do not want to plaster it with loads of graphics as the car looks very dramtic already but it does need an identitiy!. Cool car. Fabulously OTT. I'm too lazy to read through the thread on the Marcos forum but what engine does it have? I'm guessing either Ford or RV8?

I think it would look far better without any graphics, but if you're set on it, then maybe a stylised 'LM600', as you suggested, running along the bottom of the doors would be good. Maybe if Marcos had a font their badges at the time you could use that.

Thanks for that, It has the Chevy LS1 engine, the car has only done 5K miles since new!! so barely run in yeah i think just a Marcos LM600 evo logo accross the bottom door line should look good keep the letters about 2" high and in low gloss black. It certainly does look OTT but thats wahat these cars are all about!! You will notice on the very latest pics i have posted on the Marcos forumn is of the Zonda style wing mirrors,of which i think IS the ultimate hyper car!
