Not sure what to pay for this car I have been offered privately (usually buy through main dealer).

What would they have been offered trade? What should I bid?

Am I right in thinking that the few months of warranty remaining will transfer to me OK?

Thanks for your help.

2006 (56) BMW 630i Sport. Stratus grey with black leather. 35,000 miles. Bluetooth/sat nav/heated seats. 3 owners. Rear tyres due for replacement soon. Minor ding on one alloy, but bodywork/interior good otherwise.

Did the new 6 come with a manual option??

Based on your spec 20-21k private, 23k from dealer. BMW official warranties are transferable

They would have been offered 17, 18k at a push as a trade

Car is auto coupe (NOT convertible).

BMW dealer prices seem to be around the £27k mark for 56 plate cars, albeit with lower mileage. I expect they would drop £1k.

I don`t personally. I think it is a great looking car all round. Very colour and wheel specific though.

Not so sure. According to auction report in general gassing, BMW dealers are PAYING more than this:

What money do 630's go for now
These two went through a couple of weeks ago at a BMW sale but, IMO, represent the absolute peak of the market. The 630s are popular because they offer more reasonable fuel economy.

There are 2006 cars with all the toys including heads up on autotrader for £24k with 40k miles, and one without heads up with 30k miles for £24k too, why would you spend any more than that??

You could probably haggle a grand or two off either of those.
