Ok, so I'm fully prepared for the "worst I have large thighs thread" replies but I've found myself recently having issues with getting jeans to fit frown My waist is on the small side of 32" yet I really struggle to find jeans to fit my thighs (24") and end up having to buy a size bigger at the waist and wear a belt frown Does anyone else have this issue and are there any makes that people have found are better than the usual makes? I can't wait for some more proper summer days where I can get the shorts out biggrin

scratchchin I wonder what Chris Hoy does??

Yes, have the same problem; 34 inch waist (6 foot 5 so not toooo tubby) and need to buy 36-38 to fit my thighs.

The only worrying bit is that I'm just starting to cycle to work (15 miles each way daily) so it's likely to get worse (hopefully slimmer waste, but bigger legs). frown

There's a whole series of funny pics around somewhere, I think they originate from a fixie website, of photoshopped images of "normal" looking people with bodybuilders legs.

This thread just made me think of them, that is all.

some trendy fashion jeans companies do jeans that are bigish through the thigh but narrower on the lower legs... dunno what the waist is like.

Over the past 15 years, I've only been comfortable in loose fit Next jeans or similar, 36" waist.

It's a bloody pain and as for suit trousers.......... curse

Fortunately I'm fat so my jeans are baggy in that area.

Well I'm not that fat anymore. 12 months ago 38 inches were scary tight. No comfortable in 34s.

Still wear the 38s when I need range of movement in that area!

From memory, he buys something like a 40" waist jeans, and his mum takes them in for him!

Well, I'm a chubber so not so much of an issue but I find Howies jeans really good, as long as you go for the loose ones. They're fapping lovely too if a little expensive £75 to a credit crunch beating £225.

Hehe, this is where occasional mountain bikers differ from hardcore roadies ...as the former I have difficulty finding jeans for my waste size that my arse will fit in. hehe

This is where the pair I'm wearing right now are from but at 32 waist and 30 leg, they are a perfect fit at the waist and in length but I'm pretty sure the tightness in the thigh area has caused them to split in the groin area already, haven't had them that long. Not sure they do 34/30 but will be asking when I next go in and then just have to deal with the extra waist space! Not a fan of baggie jeans which is a shame, otherwise I'd be fine hehe

A lot of pro footballers have large thighs, as do the roided meatheats at my gym...and yet they manage to wear jeans off the rack. I recently bought a pair of loose fit red herring jeans from debenhams, but I've got a fat arse, so still have to go bigger on the waist hehe

I have massive legs too. Jeans I go for are loose fit jobies, seem ok but i need a size up and wear a belt.

I have Issue with these lycra insert shorts. The ones with the lycra liner. It takes me about 20 minutes to put them up and get them over my calves and thighs. Anyone else have this issue?

I am a mountain biker(jump/DH) at weekends and a roadie to work (10miles each way) so I do all sorts.
