not really, looking from the stands its to the left of the track so as much as it may pain you, you won't be able to see family camping from the stands anymoreif only

i dont know you so i wouldnt deem to forecast your future, so please dont try to forecast mine.
as it happens i shall be going this year, subject to weather, i wouldnt wanna be knee deep in mud as i have been before, common sense has to prevail, plus I have a new 4 year school transport contract to service, by the way, there is only one "L" in below... (and only one "C" but 2 "L's" actually - actually)......as for "view"....
then again, maybe "bellow" is, after all, quite apt.........
just so you know, I didnt go last year, my 86 year old dad had a severe stroke, I was visiting him twice a week, from May till after new years, I also had mum to visit as she was on her own for the first time in over 40 years, oddly there wasnt a single day when I thought "I should be at Santapod"........
erm....
Its acctualy no where near the veiw angle of the grandstand/topend as its pit side
so the grandstand isnt pitside now then?....oh, and most folk call the finish line/shutdown area the "topend"
Grandstand - by startline area and pitside
New "Shed" - by finish line and pitside
Topend - the finishing line
Pitside - where the racecars/bikes are, er, pitted

Its the nice new tech centre!, new weight bridge area, scruitineering undercover. Lockable Parc Ferm with roller shutter doors at each end means and vehicles involved in incidents can be locked away out of sight for proper investigations.
Proper offices for time tickets and fuel checks etc
Also will keep us safe when we are weighting cars.
rumour has it, it will even have toilets

Seriously, I would take his word for it. He might even have *sat* in said grandstand and looked at the view, what with having been to the track at the weekend. How about we keep the moaning for things that have actually happened and instead applaud Santa Pod for building a structure that will improve the quality and professionalism of the track - racers now have a proper tecj insepction area and those working in said area have a better working environment.so the grandstand isnt pitside now then?....oh, and most folk call the finish line/shutdown area the "topend"
Oh, and picking on someone for bad spelling is not bigg or clevver.

as for "picking on someone", well he started it
I don't think anyone should comment until they've seen the structure. You're only making yourself look silly VOF. (If you remember where the scrutineering bay is) The new building is set back so far from the finish line it's a dot on the landscape when looking from the bank or grandstand.
I sat for a couple of hours taking photos of cars coming through the structure and it's going to be super. For Amos, for the racers and for the officials.
(Sure is ma-hooosive though!)

Looks more like a shed to keep snow ploughs in, should come in useful if it is.
