Apologies if this is a repost..
I know that Thinder are embarking on their farewell tour. I read today in classic rock magazine that Danny has said that when they finish he will not be singing anymore.
That is a bit definite - 'anymore' is there something more serious behind this? I thought that since they reforemed they were going great guns.

Long time Thunder fan here - I think I bought Shooting for the Sun but it was very much Thunder by numbers. I love them to death and have seen them live a couple of times, but they haven't done anything properly new since the late 90s!
Shame they won't keep touring, but they're just rehashing their old material on new albums IMHO.
They did OK though, and if they'd made it "properly" big I don't think they'd have had the same appeal. They were too late to catch the 80s big hair movement, and too early for The Darkness' rock revival. I think they were happy enough doing their thing
