Replacing door mirror in pictures

Title should say door mirror switch

This is how I did mine. Please note, I'm actually going to reverse the connectors so if they become disconnected the live will remain insulated. That aside, it worked fine.

Excellent. But how does the mirror come off? Does it just clip off when you pull it?

Yes just gently pull it off, it's held in by plastic clips.
