Finally had enough of the Griff and its now up on the classifieds, looking for another BBW. Hopefully I will be returning soooooon. So ready you're supersoakers, smoke grenades and inflatable bananas, there be lesser model meetings and TVRCC gatherings to raid! ;-)

Absolutely nothing wrong with the Griff and in many ways its much better than the wedges, better handling, turn-in, better screwed together, newer....blah blah blah.

But it ain't in 'yer face loud or aggressive and in my opinion not a patch on the 450 I had. The missus hates the Griff as there ain't even any leg room for passengers due to the rubbish battery location!

Also they seem so much harder to work on as well.

It's a pretty thing, but its time to upgrade back to a proper TVR.

Good decision Mike - it will be good to have you back

I had the opportunity to have my car looked over on a ramp for free at Drivestyle
in Harrogate on Saturday morning and would like to quote what one of the mechanics said

"your 19 year old Wedge is in much better condition than the much younger Tuscan before you"

It made my day, and then pub lunch and a ride out in the afternoon sunshine

Only problem was there were no other Wedges there at all

Cheers
Richard

It your old age again Graham LOL

You missed a good run out as well as the free check up

See you at the Dragstrip on Sunday and hopefully running mine
An engine mount deteriorating and a weeping steering rack gaitor
were the only minor notes on a very thorough check over

Cheers
Rich
