There are two behind the dash, two behind the rear seats, one behind the fuel tank, and a couple on the chassis.
The ones I have actually found are the chassis rails - one on the front rail near the rad fans and one in the near side wheel arch.
One of the dash ones is on top of the transmission tunnel. You need to get the trim below the radio out to get to it.
This runs down the tunnel out near the handbrake and then forward past the red hot manifolds to the earth point in the N/S wheel arch - why they didn't just run it through the bulkhead?
A couple of us at least have found this cable to be cooked and crumbly when doing chassis repainting. So if you do dig out the trim to get to this one its probably worth running new cable through the bulkhead direct to the battery.
There is also a second 100 amp fuse above the passengers knees that is worth checking. If there is a water leak it can corrode. Remove the trim look for the big red cable and trace it to the fuse.

After checking all of the earth points i could get to, spending hours with a test meter and rebuilding the car the lights were still flickering. Today i went out for another go but before i started i wanted to check the l/h indicator connection behind the dash as sometimes it doesnt flash so i get myself into that really awkward upside down position and remove the panel under the steering wheel and find a loose connection....... now my indicator led works and my lights dont flicker!
