Can anyone suggest a relativley cheap destination that isn't crammed with british tourists that will be sunny and have a beach that i can just lay on over a long weekend?
Has to be a short plane ride away, and not Spain!
Was thinking southern france?
Open to suggestions, i'd be more than likely travelling by myself.

Depends how short you want the flight really.
You could get to Croatia within 3 hours and there are some very nice beaches there. It also benefits from the relative lack of British tourists and is outside the Euro Zone so it'll be cheaper too.
