Who still plays Test Drive Unlimited?

I don't think I could go back to playing it after the delights of Race Pro's handling
I think I racked up 60 hours on it back in November 2006, but when I tried it with the steering wheel, baby Jesus squeezed out the back of my Xbox and started crying little sheep tears. Then I downloaded the 'realism' handling pack, and Jesus smacked his shin on a coffee table. Not fun.

Not fun.The hardcore physics mode makes it really good, but the problem then is that the lump roads become a real hinderance to smooth driving at all.
If they had smoothened the roads out, and made hardcore mode a toggle for your entire profile, then it'd have made the game much much more impressive... (and sorted out all the little technical issues and lame sounds on some cars
)

I've been playing this recently. Only just bought it TBH.
Works well with the wireless wheel if you turn the "linearity" adjustment thing quite far down, otherwise it's floaty as hell to the point of being really tricky to keep in a straight line at 150mph.
I am really enjoying the races where you need to finish within a time, but bumping cars gives you a time penalty. It's like going for a proper hoon, except with dying switched off.
Feel free to add me - TheCaseAce. Dont know how it works multiplayer - not even looked at that yet.

Had to go nick sorry! Anyone up for a big hoon tonight?
No worries matey!I'll have a mic this evening and will be up for some mass PH hooning!
I've sent you an invite to join club "pistonheads". Once you accept it we will be able to meet at the PH clubhouse and set off from there.
