Today we had our Honda Civic Type S detailed by a member of Detailing World and Pistonheads.

Here is a link to the pictures that Jay of Gleaming Kleen has taken. I have to say the quality of the job is superb and I really can recommend Jay if you are looking to get your car ready for spring/summer.

In fact his work is actually too good as I know can see every single stone chip that the car has picked up in 4 months/5,000 miles of ownership.

Hope you all like it.

Looks stunning.

I followed through to this thread from one on the 2.2 5-dr versus 3-dr. The 3-dr is a very good looking car; although I'll be needing some sort of a 5-dr now that I have a little one on the way!

Thanks Basil. It might be worth trying a 3 door, although I don't have children a lot of people on Civinfo say the 3 door is a very easy car for children, seats and indeed putting a child into one.

Verrry nice.
If you don't mind me asking, 9 hours work, how much?

Notice the use of the 3m sun lamp, not a cheap bit of kit

I'm curious how much this was too Catherine. No one ever mentions how much something like this costs and I'm thinking of similar for the R26.

Bank on £35 per hour minimum and typically 8-10 hours depending on condition, etc.
