Hi folks

Does anyone know of a good bodyshop in the Swindon area?

I have a few stonechips and a couple of scrapes I would like to get attended to.

try Ady Godwin (01488-72727) at Membury industrial estate.

Seen some of his work, looks good to my untrained eye. Quoted me a reasonable price, only went elsewhere because of insurance company. I might be taking my bike panels there though!

I would second Kwacker.

I have not used him but I have had a quote which seemed reasonable. Heard lots of good reports.

Whatever you do, do not go anywhere near Panelcraft!

Came out worse than it went in! frown

Dick Lovett in Swindon if you have the dosh. Even Ferrari's come out better than the factory finish. They also have an in-house Mr Chips type facility that did a great job on a small blemish on the Sag's drivers door for £80.

If Cheltenham isn't too far, go to L&A Cars (St Gorges Business Park, Alstone Lane, GL51 8HF 01242 222898) and talk with Tony Stevens. I've posted before about his skills with paint and can highly recommend him. I saw his own Cobra before it was sold & shipped to Oz and a customer's Cobra, both immaculate and he's done work on both my cars. (BTW, mention me - Mike with a blue Griff and a silver Mazda.)
