A few weeks ago whilst transfering at Abu Dhabi I came close to buying a Seiko 5 model number SNKE03J1 as pictured below, but decided to get it on the return leg as a mini reward for working hard whilst in the middle east. Anyway 2 weeks later theairport had changed its displays and only had about half the 5's no display from before so I couldn't get it.

I've been checking ebay and googled it a few times sinse but can't find a site that shows it as in stock. Does any body have any ideas of where I might get one?

Id say that Google was your best chance. Seiko's range of '5' watches is massive, as Im sure that you realise; and few models seem to stay around for long...

If you knock the J1 / K1 off your search, you may have more luck. I can find a few on the first page of google search results that way; in the US, though, so youmay pay a tad more for postage and customs.

By googling just the product code I came up with loads. I din't put in Seiko, just the SNKE..... reference. Here's one in the UK

Edit: whoops - not showing in stock but there are others in the USA.

I don't know if this is of much use to you, but this place in Ealing, West London has a nice selection of Fives on offer. I picked up a nice SNX113 from there.

They don't have a website but perhaps a phonecall to them might yield something?

Google Seiko 5er's. They dont sell them in the UK so sourcing them can be a pain in the arse. Have a look on ebay too.
