Just caught my missus viewing this on e-bay....

Seems strange to me (not sure how long the listing will stay there)

Nice looking watch, but what the hell is it? a pocket watch that has been adapted? or a watch that needs to be read when you are at 45 degrees from normal?

/open to people with more knowledge about these sort of things...

Did women of that era wear their watches on the inside of the wrist? If so, you'd bend your arm up much like when they hold a mascara mirror, I guess. Perhaps that was the point. They could powder their nose and check the time. It must have been invented by a man so women didn't take so fking long to get ready. thumbup
