Drivers Door Wont Pop Open

You fix one thing and another thing breaks. Got out of the car yesterday no problems but then i couldn't get back in through the drivers door. The window goes down and i can hear a click but it dosent pop open. It opens no problems on both the manual release's. I think it may just be a loose cable? How do you get to the mechanism?

I had this early into my ownership, if you take off the panel that hides the seatbelt you will find a nut that you can adjust(by hand) just adjust that till the door openssmile

Here is the spot on advice I received from SlvrCrb when this was happening to me.

Remove the trim behind the seat, where the seat belt enters. Towards the back of the recess and down a bit there's a piece of studding (3-4mm) coming through the door opening solenoid unit. Usually the nut has moved up slightly on the studding and this in turn stops the door opening, but you get the clicking. Screw the nut a bit further down the studding until you find the point where the door opens again.

Thanks for this. All it needed was moving and it freed off and works perfectly now. Another free fix! Now thats the future. Self fixing cars!
