Luxo barge purchase

I've just gone and traded in my daily drive -
- 2005 45k mile Primera 2.2 Diesel estate for.....................
- 2001 101k mile Lexus LS430, with premium pack.

cost me £1200 to change. Am I mad?

Don't have any pic at the moment cos I took it straight to be LPG'd and won't be back til Thurs.

Should be a nice car, does it have service history? make sure its looked after well as parts can be expensive.

Thinking about a MK4 LS400 at the moment. Need to sell the MR2 first though.

Sure are expensive to insure though.

had one for a few months and loved every second of it

i just bought 2001 ls430 for £3100 (trade in at a main dealer), 109k miles had a 110k service with cambelt at main dealer for less than £500. myn2nd ls, very happy. had lots of big cars inc a rolls 5 series, jag, the lexus is the best all round but lacks the charactor of the rolls or a jag to drive.

Jeez thats cheap - that makes mine look positively expensive (and it wasn't) - mine was 6K. Does yours have the premium pack as well?.

Mine already had the cambelt change.

and how the hell did you get a service and cambelt change for £500 at a main dealer
