Have I been Talivaned?

Driving up the A23 (dual carriageway)from brighton tonight at approx 20.15 I passed a police "transit sized" van parked on the grass verge with heavly tinted rear windows, a few hundred yards down the road two police traffic cars were parked on a slip road with there side lights on, have I been talivaned? I thought they were normally smaller vans and the doors are normally open? I was doing approx 80mph

Sounds like it was an ANPR van. I think it was just making sure you were taxed insured etc

I was hoping that it was a ANPR van but did'nt think I would be that lucky

Cross your fingers. I think though if you were gonna hear anything they would stop you there and then.

Just keep those fingers crossed for 14 days (ish)

I had a similar thing going into Bournemouth on the Monday of the Labour party conference. 80ish on the dual carriageway, spot the van panic, see the police motorbikes panic even more. Then spent the next 14 days sweating it!
