TeamGTM forums?
Discussion
I hope discussing external sites isn't against the rules, but can anyone confirm the Team GTM owners' club is still active? I joined a couple of weeks ago (via Paypal) but haven't had any acknowledgement, access to the forums etc (the registration process is broken). The admin email addresses are dead, website seems out of date, etc.
I understand people run these things in their own time so don't want to be too annoying, but hey, I've paid cash-money-pounds

And I'll say: "Hello, and welcome to Team GTM"
Oh, and what car are you building, and are you coming to Stoneleigh?
Oh damn; Ferg has said that already.
I like my car, and the Team GTM guys are great.
Ferg has a front problem, but we don't mention it.
He's really, really nice. just don't mention the spyder (or the spyder front)

Hello, and thanks for your help!
To answer your questions, I am alas not yet furnished with a GTM, I'm looking to purchase a Spyder (or possibly a Libra) when I get back from my honeymoon, which coincides quite nicely with Stoneleigh so I definitely plan to attend.
Paul, I have to tell you I actually prefer the Spyder front myself (sorry)!
What is with having to pay to access the forum? I'd be interest in a GTM but the lack of info about them other than on the forum which you have to pay for is off putting, I'd imagine there's a few for sale on there too but can't see. Having it open at least but being unable to post on it would be a bit more inviting for potential members don't you think.
I think it works well as it is.
TeamGTM isn't the only GTM club, but as far as I'm concerned it's webforum is THE place for technical advice. The website costs money to run which has to be paid for.
Making it free to read would allow free access to this info, but with no commitment.
As it stands we have many members who have sold their GTM, but still cough up that vast sum to remain on the forum.

It isn't up for discussion. How the folks that run TEAM GTM organise themselves and their website is entirely their matter. I'm very happy to pay my dues to access the site and other member benefits. I wouldn't have been able to build my Libra without TEAM GTM help and support. A great bunch of enthusiasts.
Plenty of other forums operate without having to pay to access them. I just think it makes them appear a bit insular, I'm sure if your building ones its invaluable but if your just considering one and want some info on them having to pay for it puts you off. In an ideal world the factory would pay for it I suppose, sorry for discussing it though.
What is it you want to know?
None of it is secret; it's just that Team GTM works well as a point of reference for builders and owners as it is.
However, if you have any questions about the Libra or Spyder, then ask away, there are quite a few owners who look at this site, and you'll get plenty of answers.

I will try and get it sorted for you.
There are a few issues with the site at the moment as a some of the automatic bits aren't working and have to be done manually. The guys who do this voodoo stuff have been away. I think they are both back now so hopefully it will be sorted very soon.
