Under Bonnet Foil Blanket...

The foil has come off two of the triangles of my bonnet. The fire blanket type material is still bonded quite well so i am reluctant to take it off. i have repared it with plumbers aluminium self adhesive tape but this has come off now and spoiled my airbox/manifold paint finish. What is the best solution to getting this fixed / replaced? and where from? is it a DIY job?

You can buy a new set from Racing Green I think its around £40 for the complete set.

there's plenty of lightweight sound and heat deadening material that could replace.
